A Ring of Faith - The Story Behind the Khanda & Ik Onkar Thumb Ring

This thumb ring was born from exactly that intention.
A Vision Rooted in Belief
A client approached us with a very clear and meaningful idea. He wanted a thumb ring having two powerful Sikh symbols in 3D - the Khanda and the Ik Onkar.
For him, this ring wasn’t meant to be decorative. It was meant to be a constant reminder of his faith and values, something he could wear every day. He was very passionate about this idea and his energy was very contagious.
The Meaning Behind the Symbols
At the center of the design lies the Khanda, one of the most recognized symbols in Sikhism. The Khanda represents the balance between spiritual wisdom and worldly responsibility, a philosophy known as “Miri te Piri.”
It reminds us that life is not about choosing between devotion and duty, but about living in harmony with both. It is a symbol of courage, discipline, and the responsibility to stand for truth.
Alongside it appears Ik Onkar, a powerful spiritual phrase that means “One Creator.” Ik Onkar represents the unity of all existence, the belief that the entire universe flows from one divine source. It reminds us of humility, equality, and the shared connection between all human beings. Together, these symbols form a powerful spiritual message.
A Personal Touch Inside
To make the ring even more meaningful, the word “Waheguru” was engraved on the inside of the band. Hidden from the outside world, yet always present, this engraving turns the ring into something deeply personal.

The ring was handcrafted in Pure Silver 925, designed as a bold thumb ring to give the sacred symbols the presence they deserve. Every engraving was carefully sculpted so that the symbols remain clear, powerful, and timeless. The final piece feels solid, balanced, and meaningful — exactly as the client envisioned.

When the ring was completed, it became far more than a piece of silver. Client ofcourse loved it and it made us happy too. It became a symbol. A reminder of strength. A reminder of unity.
